A girl aged five with terminal illness has reportedly tied the knot with her best friend aged six.
The girl, identified as Eileidh Paterson made a dying wish after she was diagnosed with terminal neuroblastoma, an uncommon type of cancer among children.
According to the Daily Mail, Eileidh uncovered that she would wish to get married to her best pal, Harrison Grier.
And Eileidh's dreams came true in June, when she exchanged necklaces with Harrison, in a passionate ceremony graced by family members and friends - some who are said to have traveled hundreds of miles to attend.
Photos of the occasion, hosted in a meeting room in Aberdeen, Scotland demonstrate the 'bride' radiating as she and Harrison strolled as an inseparable pair down the aisle.
The pair was proclaimed "best friends for ever."
Fascinatingly, Eileidh was walked down the aisle by her elder brother towards a makeshift altar as a lone piper led the procession.
